About the Assessments
Understand the four assessments in the Readiness and Improvement Portfolio: who they are for, how to prepare, what you gain and how to use the findings.
Four assessments. Two complementary tracks.
Start with an organisation, division, department or team, or one named process. Use a free Readiness assessment for an initial view and a facilitated Deep Dive when the decision needs stronger evidence.

Conditional questions are used where applicable. The Organisation Readiness Assessment covers 8 domains; the Organisation Deep Dive Assessment covers 92 control areas across its core and conditional questions. Completion effort depends on scope, evidence and participants.
Who should participate
An informed individual can establish a provisional baseline. A useful team result brings together the people who own, perform, support and govern the work. Differences in answers are findings to investigate, not scores to average away.
Organisation track
Bring the executive sponsor and accountable leads for operations, process, technology, data, security, risk, finance and workforce change. Involve specialists according to scope.
Process track
Include the process owner, people doing the work, sponsor, information and system owners, and the risk, security, legal or workforce specialists relevant to the proposed change.
Prepare the scope and evidence
- Define the organisation or process boundary, desired outcomes and decision to be made.
- Record the current position separately from the intended future.
- Bring current process records, performance and cost information, controls, ownership and technology dependencies.
- Identify evidence sources, dates and owners; record unknowns, disagreements and assumptions.
- Include sensitive information only where authorised and necessary; agree appropriate evidence handling with IGX.
What your results mean
The assessments make confidence and information gaps visible alongside the condition being assessed. An unsupported answer is not equivalent to a validated finding. A confidence result is not a percentage probability of success, an automation maturity level or permission to implement.
Deep Dives test the evidence and separate confidence, capability, operating suitability and applicable gates. Unknowns prompt investigation; not-applicable responses need a reason. An essential control gap cannot be cancelled out by stronger answers elsewhere.
Expect actionable feedback on strengths, gaps, unknowns and next steps. Process assessments inform a Current Mode, Fit Decision and Justified Target. Deep Dives validate the picture and establish a defensible recommendation; they do not automatically recommend more automation.
Results support decisions. They do not constitute certification, independent assurance or implementation approval. Accountable owners must approve the agreed scope, controls, testing and residual risk.
From findings to delivery
The Readiness Roadmap separates confidence actions, capability actions and operating-change actions. Process Operating Fit helps determine whether to retain, improve, simplify, automate selected work, defer or stop.

Access, fees and scope
Both Readiness assessments are free. Deep Dives are facilitated diagnostics: available as standalone engagements or embedded in consultancy, with the assessment scope and fee recognised to avoid duplicate charging. Agree the required output and commercial scope with IGX.

Data access and retention.
For online assessments, your responses, supporting information and assessment report will be stored securely and made available for 30 days from the date the assessment is submitted.
Authorised IGX Solutions personnel may access this information during that period where reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service, provide support, generate or maintain the report, investigate technical issues, or deliver any facilitated assessment services you request.
Your organisation retains ownership of the information it submits. IGX Solutions retains ownership of the assessment questions, methodology, scoring logic, report structure and associated intellectual property.
At the end of the 30-day access period, online access will end and the assessment information will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with our retention policy, subject to limited retention required by law or for security, billing or dispute-resolution purposes. You should download any report you wish to retain before the expiry date.
For facilitated assessments and consultancy, evidence access, retention and deletion are governed by your engagement agreement. Please see our Assessment Terms and Privacy Notice for further information.
Ownership and use
Your organisation retains ownership of the information it submits. IGX retains ownership of the assessment questions, methodology, scoring logic, report structure and associated intellectual property. Use of assessment materials and reports is governed by the applicable Assessment Terms and engagement agreement.
When to reassess
Review at agreed milestones and when outcomes, costs, demand, people, systems, controls, information or proposed authority change. Record what changed, update the evidence and revisit the operating-fit decision.

Practical questions.
How long does completion take?
About 30 minutes for the Organisation Readiness Assessment and about 20 minutes for the Process Readiness Assessment. The Deep Dives are designed for a facilitated working session, or a short series of them. Completed online on your own, the Process Deep Dive takes about 55 minutes and the Organisation Deep Dive about 70 minutes.
Is there a charge?
The Organisation Readiness Assessment and the Process Readiness Assessment are free to complete online. The Process Deep Dive is a facilitated engagement, scoped and agreed with IGX Solutions before it begins.
Do I need to complete all four?
No. Start with whichever question you actually have: the wider organisation, or one named process. The Process Deep Dive only follows where the Process Readiness Assessment indicates it is warranted.
Can one person complete an assessment?
Yes, and one informed person can produce a useful baseline. Treat it as provisional until the functions that own the evidence have checked it, particularly before a Process Deep Dive recommendation is acted on.
Does the result authorise implementation?
No. Every result is indicative decision support based on the information supplied. It does not constitute independent validation, certification, assurance, legal advice or confirmation that an organisation, process or technology is ready for deployment.
How do I access the assessment and get help?
The Organisation and Process Readiness Assessments give an instant on-screen result and a private link emailed to you. To arrange a Process Deep Dive, or if you need help with either online assessment, contact IGX Solutions.
How are process results and follow-up handled?
The confidence band, the unknowns and disagreements, and any gate that needs a condition point to the next step: clarify the position, take the actions, or move to a Process Deep Dive. IGX Solutions will follow up where you have asked us to.
Can I provide feedback?

When should we reassess?
